I have a shared folder on Ubuntu. I can access it from Windows like this

import os
from shutil import copy
print(os.listdir("//myhost/rr"))
.

But on Ubuntu i get this error:

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '//myhost/'.

I've tried all these

print(os.listdir('\myhostrr' ))

print(os.listdir("//myhost/rr"))

print(os.listdir(r"myhostrr"))

print(os.listdir("/myhost/rr"))

print(os.listdir("myhostrr"))

but i still get the same error..

  • UNC paths are not supported. You have to mount the share. There are multiple ways to do it all of which are off topic here.
