I want to use one of dataframes with multiindex like a dictionary. But these dataframes have different index length.
To fill in values from one to another dataframes we should use align with some 'join' parameter like this:
Dataframe1= df_with_values.align(Dataframe1,join='right')[0]
But sometimes I see wrong results (in case of not sorted index for example: the forms are correct but the filled values are incorrect). And in this case I used the reindex method for dataframe with values to fill like in following code example:
Dataframe1= df_with_values.reindex(Dataframe1.index)
Which way to assign is more correct and pythonic?
python-3.x pandas dataframe
