I am training phone duration model for speech synthesis system using BLSTM model with one layer of 2048 neurones. I give the sequence of phones to the model and I get the duration in millisecond for each phone. The longuest sentence is 20seconds long (around 150 phones) The result I get is weird. The begining of the sentence the durations are short (the speech rate is quick) and after 5 or 6 seconds the speech become slower and slower. The data in my training set doesn't contain this kind of pattern. Did I miss something ?
