I have got a problem with an application I am developping. This one uses some jComboBoxes while the Look And Feel is set on Nimbus, so it's (a bit) prettier. My problem is those jComboBoxes won't display the selected value when I select it. It just goes on displaying the first item, so, as a user, you don't know what you've selected. This only happens when I use this LaF, since when I don't use any LaF, I haven't got this issue. Would anyone know where this could come from ? Of course I could develop a method based on actionPerfomed action event, but I would feel sad I need to do it on such a renowned language which is java.
Here is my look and feel setting code, automatically generated by NetBeans 8.2
try
for (javax.swing.UIManager.LookAndFeelInfo info : javax.swing.UIManager.getInstalledLookAndFeels())
if (!"Nimbus".equals(info.getName()))
else
javax.swing.UIManager.setLookAndFeel(info.getClassName());
break;
catch (ClassNotFoundException | InstantiationException | IllegalAccessException | javax.swing.UnsupportedLookAndFeelException ex)
java.util.logging.Logger.getLogger(desktopFrame.class.getName()).log(java.util.logging.Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
It's the same when in the try I set :
UIManager.setLookAndFeel("com.sun.java.swing.plaf.nimbus.NimbusLookAndFeel");
Thank you all !
