Firefox on Android doesnt support taking an image with the camera and attaching it to form.. only attaching an existing image (https://caniuse.com/#search=html%20media%20capture)
Therefore I want to make it so that when the user clicks, the upload dialogue only offers Images folder not Camera option.
I am fine with detecting the use of FF and android... I just want to change the attributes in that case so that only existing images are offered so as to not make the user think they can take an image... as it doesn't attach so will end up failing!
Is this even possible?
I've tried taking the "Capture" attribute out altogether but that doesnt work
<input id="theFile" name="theFile" type="file" size="260" accept="image/*" />
and
<input id="theFile" name="theFile" type="file" size="260" accept="image/*" capture/>
