I have small script that handles json rpc requests. And I want to make sure, I can increase respond per second by configuring nginx. Script receives and handles requests in special port (e.g. port 3232).

Is there any way I can increase respond per second by optimizing some configs on nginx?

I have tried this but I am not super familiar with nginx.
