I'd like R to create the names automatically instead of me having to hard code them into the script when its creating a shapefile
writeOGR(Data.shp, dsn = "C:\Desktop\Testing_Folder",
layer = paste0(save.loc, "/", address.name, "-", address.county, "/",
address.name, "-data.shp"), row.names=F, driver = "ESRI Shapefile"))
The Layer section is how I usually code to to automatically have the script place the name since there wold be many runs with many different addresses. But this string doesn't work in this instance and i'm stuck at a roadblock mentally in how to achieve this using writeOGR.
Any help would be appreciated
