Heres my post method

 RequestBuilder requestBuilder = MockMvcRequestBuilders
 .post("notes/")
 .accept(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON_VALUE).contentType(ObjectToJson.getObjectData(notes))
 .contentType(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON_VALUE);

 MvcResult result = mockMvc.perform(requestBuilder).andReturn();

 MockHttpServletResponse response = result.getResponse();

 assertEquals(HttpStatus.CREATED.value(), response.getStatus());
