(Python) - I have a few different windows machines around places I go (home, school, etc). I've been trying to tackle the solution of file transfer between computers. I know about SSH, FTP, etc, but I'd like a solution that allows me to see files like with the File Explorer on windows (GUI). As far as I know so, there must be a way (it would be cool to use sockets if possible) to do this.
I'd like it if there would be a way to have a gui open with the target computer's file manager up, and I can drag files across, etc. If this isn't possible, then I'd at least like it if python could show me all of the files (visually) and I could use ftp to transfer.
Thanks, guys. I'd appreciate even a bit of a push in the right direction if you don't know the answer.

A few people have made ftp clients in the past. A good example would be github.com/RainingComputers/whipFTP. If you google "python FTP client gui" you will find a few more github projects. If you look through the source code of them you might start to get a good idea of how to make a FTP client or something similar.
