I followed the instructions for installation and usage from the JACK Client docs and I get the error as soon as I initialize the client. My OS is Ubuntu 18.04 and I am using python 3.6 if this helps.
I've already tried to run under root privileges and I still get the error.
The code is simply this:

python-3.6 ubuntu-18.04 jack
