Earlier logic was straight forward one method provides object which dynamodb db persist methods insert into table. But now trying to add same item map with two different classes.
@Override
public void persist(Object1 object1)
try
Map<String, AttributeValue> item = new HashMap<>();
item.put(DynamoDBField.Fields.FIELD_ID, new AttributeValue().withN(String.valueOf(object1.getId())));
item.put(DynamoDBField.Fields.STATUS, new AttributeValue().withS(String.valueOf(object1.getStatus())));
amazonDynamoDBGateway.put(getTableName(), item);
catch (DynamoDatabaseException e)
throw new DynamoDatabaseException(e, PersistenceErrorType.DB_COMMIT_FAILED);
This persist method calls in other class like this:
public void onCreate(Object1 object1)
updateDynamoRepository.persist(object1);
Now lets say I add another class that create Object2:
public class ClassForObject2
private Object2 object2= new Object2("my object2");
I am wondering how can I add object2
in method persist
so along with object1 it can add object2 as well in parallel
Ultimately in dynamo it should be like:
|field_id|status|field_from_object2|
+--------+------+------------------+
| 123 | ON | my object 2 |
Would appreciate guide in this I looked at pass by value but no success.
