I want to create a schema from my case class using avro4s
so for

case class Foo(i: Int)

I can do something like

object MySchemaGenerator extends App
 val schema = AvroSchema[Foo]
 schema.toString(true)

But it seems to be a mix of concerns to have the schema generator in as part of the application (or as another app in the project)

is there a way to create the schema it using sbt command or other more idiomatic way ?

  What do you want to do with the schema? I don't really see this as an issue anyway: you are just using a lib that provides you this functionality.
