When I type one " in Visual Studio Code it autocompletes to "".
But the cursor automatically goes to the end of the second ".
I want the cursor to go inbetween the "" so I can type what's supposed to be inbetween. How can I accomplish this?

  • This is not the normal behaviour. By default in VSCode the cursor jumps automatically inbetween the quotation marks, unless you change "editor.autoClosingQuotes" in settings.json. Have you tried to set it to "always"?
