I'm a creating a web app using ASP.NET Core MVC. The version I'm using is 2.2 (not really married to it though). I need to put a react component in some pages of my web app.
I've gone through several tutorials and have never managed to get my react element to be shown on my page.
https://reactjs.net/tutorials/aspnetcore.html
is the page I found most informing about the matter but even it hadn't covered the issue well enough.
To be specific: my problem is that when in the tutorial suggests that I should be seeing the "Hello World! I am a comment box", I'm seeing a blank page.
No errors. I have checked typos and other similar probable mistakes.
I need my pages to render one react component.
P.S: I'm not sure even if what I want is currently covered in the 2.2 version of .NET Core. so if changing the the version would be the only way for now, I would appreciate confirmation. also I might be able to use vue or angular for the same component. would using them instead of react help?
