I want to create a client portal, where the user signs in one time and then can access various other ressources using some single sign-on (SSO) mechanism, which I am about to choose.

Some of the external (HTTP) ressources provide SAML (like ITGlue/myGlue) to log in, some accept OpenID Connect, but at least two of them only provide form-based authentication (FBA), like one dashboard with the usual user/password form in front of the service..

I tried OneLogin as IdentityProvider and they have a nice form-filling function to log in to FBA sercured services and works quite well. But for me OneLogin is too expensive. I have checked shibboleth and keycloak, but I cant figure out, how these could help me with form-based authenticated ressources.

Does anyone have an idea, how to implement such a "Single Sign-On Portal" for logging in to various other sites, including form-based authenticated?

Thank you in advance,
matthias
