I have 2 servers, one server used for image files storage, and another server with an ASP.NET site from where the users will upload the images.
I need to let users to upload files from ASP.NET ,but files will need to be upload to the file server without going through the ASP.NET application server.
On the application server, i am just saving the names and urls for the uploaded files.
What will be the best and most secure way to implment this?
what will be the design and structure, how to make the files server to allow incoming files only uploaded from the ASP.NET application?
