I'm trying to permanently redirect (301) an address to a subdomain address maintaining utm parameters.
When I click this link:
http://example.com/friendship/?utm_source=test-campaign&utm_medium=test&utm_campaign=test&utm_term=test
I want to be redirect to:
http://subdomain.example.com/friendship/?utm_source=test-campaign&utm_medium=test&utm_campaign=test&utm_term=test
I added this rewrite rule to my htaccess:
RewriteRule ^friendship/ https://subdomain.example.com/friendship [NC,QSA,R=301,L]
If I visit http://example.com/friendship/ the redirect is happening. The result url I get is: https://subdomain.example.com/friendship
If I add the parameters and visit http://example.com/friendship/?utm_source=test-campaign&utm_medium=test&utm_campaign=test&utm_term=test I get a 404.
How can I adjust the RewriteRule to get the utm parameters to stay and the redirect to happen?
apache .htaccess mod-rewrite utm
