Does anyone know how to configure VS Code to use Xdebug on Drupal VM?

I have provisoned my Drupal-VM with Xdebug as described in:
http://docs.drupalvm.com/en/latest/extras/xdebug/

But what to do next?

Should my debug configuration in VS Code look like that?:

 "name": "Listen for XDebug",
 "type": "php",
 "request": "launch",
 "port": 9969,
 "pathMappings": 
 "http://drupalvm.test": "/D:/test_bazy_sql/drupal/drupal_sites/drupal-vm/drupal/web"
 ,
 

Does it matter which PHP I use?
The relevant lines in my settings.json file in VS Code:

"php.validate.executablePath": "C:\php2\php.exe",
"phpserver.browser": "edge",
"phpserver.phpPath": "C:\php2\php.exe",
"php.validate.run": "onType",

And my Xdebug settings in php.ini file look like this:

xdebug.remote_enable = 1
xdebug.remote_autostart = 1
xdebug.remote_port = 9969
xdebug.remote_log="D:xdebug.log"
xdebug.remote_timeout = 900
xdebug.remote_connect_back = 1

I will be thankful for any suggestions.
