I have a rails based app with api endpoint that will accept api_key to authorized the user. Also this api has a background worker which is wrapped using a Ruby Thread.new.
Now, if my rails app is running using Puma I was able to logged-in successfully but if I replaced the Puma with Passenger server I was able to logged-in at first but after succeeding request it will return "authorization error". See the logs below:
I, [2019-03-26T18:20:29.611996 #26698] INFO -- Authorization is finished successfully.

I, [2019-03-26T23:20:09.341415 #64121] INFO Thread with name "LogsSender worker #47158391867980" is terminated!
I, [2019-03-26T23:20:09.341415 #64121] INFO Thread with name "LogsSender worker #42158391867991" is terminated!
I found out that the Passenger spawned a new process for every web request. If you noticed in processID #26698 it was authenticated successfully but on the next web request it had a new processID of #64121.
Any ideas on how to approach this issue ? Thanks
