I have an API which has and abstract class with sub classes, and the same poco's on the Angular end.
abstract class A
class AB extends A
class AC extends A
class AD extends A
I get the json from the API, a list of the classes mentioned, and want to map it into the respective types.
const retVal = this.http.get<A[]>(myEndpoint);
How do I get that into the sub types at the angular end?
I am wanting different types and some have different properties to others, which will be used in their respective Components when rendering.

"As expected it will not let me map those into A, as it's abstract." It will though.
