I want to fill between curves with an image instead of hatch that i will create my own image with a specific shading i need , and i will use it to fill between curves,
another thing i need that image to be remains as its size and the area between curves will filled with repeating that image. not with enlarge one image.
i tried to use matplotlib hatch , but the symbols not enough to do the needful
from matplotlib import pyplot as plt
import numpy as np
x = np.arange(20)
y1 = np.linspace(15,20, 20)
y2 = np.linspace(10,15, 20)
plt.plot(x, y1, y2)
plt.fill_between(x, y1, y2, facecolor='c', hatch='/|/', interpolate=True)
plt.grid()
plt.show()
python-3.x matplotlib imshow

You will need to define a clip_path and apply this to the image.
