I tried all syntax I know, but I am unable to fetch the Addresses array I obtain by querying. I have no problem with phoneNumbers, but I do not understand what happens to addresses.
In fact, I have no problem with getContactsAsync to retrieve those datas. But when I obtain contact with getContactByIdAsync, I can see the datas are here, but I can not iterate them. I can see the addresses are here applying JSON.stringify on the datas concerned. But every other method replies 'undefined is not an object', or other errors. I tried with and without ContactQuery, and in all case, I can see datas are here. And I pass exactly the same objects in the same simple renderItem method.
I also tried a trick : set pagesize to 0 and pageoffset to the id of contact with the getContactsAsync method, but it does not work at all. And I realized that it concerns every arrays of a Contact...
So have you any idea of why I can read the arrays in one case, and in the second, all seems unreachable?
How can I resolve that?
In all the case, the datas have the same structure, they are exactly the same...
Thank you a lot if you have the answer.
EDIT
So, after again a lot of tests, I finally managed to resolve my problem.
As I am new to expo and react, and react native too, I follow the examples I see on the web.
In fact, the problem was in two part :
- It is not possible to trust in state mechanism. And often, using a Flatlist deals with this functionnality. So, I tested the two : props and state, and take the one which is not null before init FlatList.
- I deleted the common style attribute: flex : 1 on the FlatList.
And now, it works fine...
