We have a system where most stuff is fixed for you when you check out a project, so you basically only have to check out the project, run a gradle task, and then point your IntelliJ IDEA to the directory, and pretty much everything is good to go.
However, you have to make a Run Configuration to get the application to run. It would have been lovely if after the IntelliJ import of the project, you already had a standard development Run Configuration set up, so that you literally just had to click the "debug" icon in the upper right and instantly have the project run.
Is there some way to achieve this from the gradle integration? Failing that, how to doctor some intelliJ config file programmatically to contain this Run Config already (since we already have a "set up project locally" gradle task, it could be done there).
