I'm often having to create new accounts for users in Oracle Service Cloud. I'm essentially taking data from an excel spreadsheet and pasting it in various fields in OSC. I'd need to automate mouse clicks etc between Excel and OSC. How would you all suggest I start? I'm not even sure which language to go with so even that would be helpful.

I looked into built in Macros from Microsoft but you cannot switch between apps like I'd need to. Thanks in advance!

  • You could start by checking out how to read data from an excel into a script (e.g. Python, bash, Perl) and then using the Oracle Service Cloud REST APIs to create the user, instead of clicking macros.
