I am calling an external service from my spring application and this is my code

return webClient.get()
 .uri(builder -> 
 buildURI(builder))
 .accept(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON)
 .headers(httpHeaders -> 
 buildHeaders(httpHeaders))
 .retrieve()
 .onStatus(httpStatus -> httpStatus.series().value()== HttpStatus.UNAUTHORIZED.value(),
 clientResponse -> 
 throwError(clientResponse))
 .bodyToMono(
 A.class);

In a happy path, the external service returns 200 and a json response. All works well.
But in a specific situation for invalid credential, the external service returns 401 and a response that has application/xml;chatset=UTF-8.

My code fails with the following exception
org.springframework.web.reactive.function.UnsupportedMediaTypeException: Content type 'application/xml;charset=UTF-8' not supported

I have no control over the external service. How can I handle this in my application?
