  • 1983년 9월 13일 : 녹번역으로 역명 결정[1]


  • 1985년 7월 12일: 서울 지하철 3호선 구파발 ~ 독립문 구간 개통과 함께 영업 개시


역 구조


1면 2선의 섬식 승강장이 갖추어진 지하역이며, 스크린도어가 설치되어 있다. 출구는 5개가 있다.
