I'm using alpha anywhere, I try to get the value from my grid window popup, what I am trying to achieve: clicking 'apply' button to set the value to a UX control in tab UI.

So far, I can get the value from the clicked row with the desired column ('descr_short') but I cannot return the value to my control in tab UI

var a = Grid.object.getValue('G','DESCR_SHORT',cR);
//alert(a);
//set value to ux control in tab ui
dialog.object.closeContainerWindow(this);

where cR is the row selected number

I'm using alpha anywhere, I try to get the value from my grid window popup, what I am trying to achieve: clicking 'apply' button to set the value to a UX control in tab UI.

So far, I can get the value from the clicked row with the desired column ('descr_short') but I cannot return the value to my control in tab UI

var a = Grid.object.getValue('G','DESCR_SHORT',cR);
//alert(a);
//set value to ux control in tab ui
dialog.object.closeContainerWindow(this);
