I want to learn how to do basic table to display data from database/content and shows the summary of it in a table. example i have 4 data sets. 2 contains name"bob", 1 contain name"jack" and the last one contain name"mack". i just want the table to display eg: [name:bob,count:2],[name:jack,count:1],[name:mack,count:1]. this should be veeery simple for a simple php code. but i cant for the life of me with my limited knowledge on learning drupal to figure out how. can anyone please help guide me or provide places where i can learn.
note: i found a tutorial to show it on header, but i want it to show in the table. as data.
