I have a large raster time series (rts) of about 40 years. Each year includes 2 months (e.g september -october).
Now, I want to calculate the mean values for every quarter of the periods per year (e.g. 1st quarter of september-october period, 2nd quarter of
september -october period and so on, in order to have this quarters for every year.)
If I use the apply.quarterly() function, I get yearly quarters (e.g mean values every 4 years).
My question: Is there a way to get my quarters in days with rts?
