I followed this suggestion to create an Ant junit test target in my build.xml file. The test target looks as follows:

<target name="test" depends="compile">
 <junit>
 <classpath>
 <pathelement location="$test.compiled.classes.dir" /> 
 <pathelement location="$lib/junit-4.12.jar"/>
 <pathelement location="$lib/hamcrest-core-1.3.jar"/>
 </classpath> 
 <batchtest>
 <fileset dir="$test.src.classes.dir">
 <include name="**/*Test*" />
 </fileset>
 </batchtest>
 <formatter type="brief" usefile="false"/>
</junit>

Where

1. $test.compiled.classes.dir => is the location of compiled test classes (i.e. project/ant/tmp/classes/junit/XxxTest.class)




2. $test.src.classes.dir => is the location of source test classes (i.e. project/src/test/junit/XxxTest.java)




3. $lib => is the location where all the external jar files are located.

But when I run Ant (build.xml), I always got error message saying:

java.lang.noClassDefFounderror: XxxTest (wrong name: junit/XxxTest).

Could someone please help me with this to fix?
