I'm having a difficulty fully enabling Cookies under my projects constraints. Everything I try seems to hit at least one obstacle I can't pass.
I need help, how would you handle this?

Constraints

• I'm writing a Java library.


• It's for Android.


• I'm using a proprietary HttpUrlConnection based NetworkManager.


• I believe writing a fully manual implementation will take a lot of time. Which I won't get.

Requirements

• Application restart persistence


• Must not override host app's CookieHandler, if such exists.


• • I would be happy to know if there's a way to add Android persistence to CookieHandler.setDefault(cookieManager); - the problem is, what happens if it's the host app's cookieManager?
