I'm having a difficulty fully enabling Cookies under my projects constraints. Everything I try seems to hit at least one obstacle I can't pass.
I need help, how would you handle this?
Constraints
- I'm writing a Java library.
- It's for Android.
- I'm using a proprietary
HttpUrlConnection
basedNetworkManager
. - I believe writing a fully manual implementation will take a lot of time. Which I won't get.
Requirements
- Application restart persistence
- Must not override host app's
CookieHandler
, if such exists. - I would be happy to know if there's a way to add Android persistence to
CookieHandler.setDefault(cookieManager);
- the problem is, what happens if it's the host app'scookieManager
?
- I would be happy to know if there's a way to add Android persistence to
java android cookies httpurlconnection
