I want to redirect this kind of url:

into:
http://mysitename.com/login
this is what i tried:

server_name http://mysitename.com;

proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:3000;
etc...

listen 3000;
servername 51.194.236.8;
return 301 http://mysitename.com$request_uri;
when i entered 51.194.236.8 in the browser it will redirect correctly, when i include the port number like this: 51.194.236.8:3000 it will no redirect.
