I have a custom class called harmonizer which extends AKNode and has several other AKNodes from the AudioKit library within it. The idea is to have signal chain in Harmonizer which can be integrated into a larger signal chain in another class. I have harmonizer extending AKNode and taking an AKNode as an input, however whenever I call the harmonizer signal chain from another class the app crashes upon opening. I think perhaps I am not specifying the output of the harmonizer signal chain correctly.
Here is the external call to harmonizer:
input_signal = AKMicrophone()
input_booster = AKBooster(input_signal)
harmonizer = Harmonizer(input_booster)
output_mix = AKMixer(harmonizer)
AudioKit.output = output_mix
Here is the init function for the Harmonizer class:
init(_ input: AKNode)
freq_tracker = AKFrequencyTracker(input)
chord_degree = 1
current_chord = one_chord
shifter1 = AKPitchShifter(freq_tracker)
shifter2 = AKPitchShifter(freq_tracker)
shifter3 = AKPitchShifter(freq_tracker)
shifter4 = AKPitchShifter(freq_tracker)
shifters = [shifter1, shifter2, shifter3, shifter4]
lead_shifter = AKPitchShifter(input)
tonic = 60.0
super.init()
