I'm working currently with a business analysis unit which uses extensively the Visual Paradigm to describe theirs business needs and use cases.
When describing a use case scenario (Flow of Events) they make use of the business rule, for example: "display the contract in progress, please refer to the BR07". And then they detail the filter "contract in progress" in business rule BR07.
I'm wondering if it is the right usage of the business rule in visual paradigm ? The filter should be explained in scenario instead of a business rule, shouldn't it ?
In the documentation of the visual paradigm, a business rule is defined as following
"A business rule defines guideline with necessary constraint(s) needed for executing certain business operations."
If you used or are using visual paradigm, please share your opinions about the business rule.
