Spermophilus adocetus

열대땅다람쥐(Notocitellus adocetus)는 다람쥐과에 속하는 설치류의 일종이다.[2] 한때 이 종은 원래 Spermophilus adocetus로 기재되었지만, 땅다람쥐속(Spermophilus)은 2009년에 개정되고 여러 속으로 세분화되었고 현재는 열대땅다람쥐속(Notocitellus)으로 옮겨졌다. 멕시코 북부의 건조 고원 지대와 낙엽 활엽수림의 토착종이다.[3] 현지에서는 "쿠이니크(Cuinique)"로 불린다.[4]
